THE CLIFFS OF INSANITY

Yeah, I said it. . .insanity, and here is why.

My part time job is a at a small business here in town, I can do much of it at home, but well, not all of it, and so, today was one of those in house days. . .

Now, of course it is no secret to those who know about this blog who I am strongly opposed to in this election, but as far as work goes, I have pretty much maintained radio silence on my feelings about the race.

A woman in the place that has voiced strong support for Obama came in today and we were talking about things when another woman came up and asked for a "few bucks" to buy some coffee. . .the woman said she did not have a few bucks. I did so I gave it to her.

Once the woman left, she said "you are so stupid to give her money, she has child support, and she gets SSI for her kid with health problems. She's not getting anymore of MY money."

Whoa, wait a minute. . .does she even hear what she is saying? Socialism is, among other things, an economic system that distributes money via the government. The "people" in a socialist system do not earn personal funds, they are all expected to draw their funds 'according to their need" and contribute according to their ability". . .

So, my single, non parent coworker who is not willing to part with any "more" of her money will be quite surprised to find that she will be, for the most part, paying into the new spread the wealth world order, and getting out only what the entity in charge thinks she needs. . .there will be no debate the government will be there to help you . . .spending what ever you contribute and giving you according to need.

There is, of course, nothing wrong with socialism, as long as voters are making the choices they make with the correct information, and "spreading the wealth around" via the government is exactly that. . .so why not just say so. . .

Oh, because it is "scare tactics" ahhhhh, yes, the truth is scary. . .got it!
